Fujifilm Supports IDEA/IPA Ink Saver Study

Fujifilm Canada Inc. proudly supports research & studies that provide the graphic arts industry with independently verified third party data through financial support, donation of facilities and personnel.

Fujifilm donated our Equipment Evaluation Facility in Mississauga and several technical services personnel to support Dr. Abhay Sharma’s work on behalf of the IDEAlliance / IPA to conduct a shootout of 13 different vendors supplied Ink Saver products. Fujifilm partner, CGS, also donated their Oris Color Tuner solution to aid in the analysis.

Working directly under Dr. Sharma’s supervision, personnel from Fujifilm, CGS and independent researcher Ben Starr conducted a blind analysis of printed press sheets to verify the amount of CMY ink savings generated by each vendor’s solution.

The data will be analyzed and compiled into a final report that will be presented and published at the IDEAlliance / IPA Technical conference in Chicago on June 6-7. For more information please click here.
